Kokanee Decline

Nov. 1, 1999: The US Fish & WildlifeService published a final rule in the Federal Register to list all bull trout in the coterminous United States as threatened (64 FR 58909).

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) was subsequently petitioned to list westslope cutthroat trout. Westslope cutthroat are currently listed as a "species of special concern" under the Endangered Species Act.
